For generations, the Sikuani and Nukak peoples coexisted in the same territory—between the Amazon rainforest and the eastern savannas—maintaining a distant peace. They were neither enemies nor allies; they shared the space without truly uniting their traditions or their spirits.
This fragile harmony shatters when ancient spirits, corrupted and forgotten due to the breach of the sacred pact between humans and the jungle, awaken and begin to manifest as destructive forces. Creatures like Dawa, Yuru, Dark Tsamani, and Kénau emerge as a consequence of the forgotten rites, songs, and promises made to nature.
The jungle begins to deteriorate, and both peoples understand that the true source of the disaster is not the jungle itself, but the rupture of the spiritual bond that kept it in balance.
Forced by the threat, the Sikuani and Nukak must decide whether to put aside their differences to restore the ancient pact or remain separate and allow their home to disappear.
